We traveled to this restaurant from Disney Springs specifically for the vegan beignets. I also had a veggie burger which was delicious! While we were eating they had a Mardi Gras parade. Such a fun resort!

We ate here several times when we stayed in the POR section. Love the beignets! We are going back in a month just to stay in POFQ because on those beignets.

We LOVE the beignets here!!! Never stayed in the FQ before, but have made specials trips after hearing from a friend how good they are….Nothing better than coffee and beignets in the Most Magical Place on Earth!!!!

There’s a Lego table for the kids and a flat screen TV to view when dining. Bathrooms are nearby, too. Pizza is available for take-out and the shrimp po-boy sandwiches are great.
If they are out of something, be sure to ask. We needed a small (child) chocolate milk to use as a drink for our son with the counter service credit for lunch. Only white milk was available. We asked and since they were out, he got the large chocolate milk for the same credit.
Most of the food is made fresh while you wait, so it may take a few minutes longer to get your meal.

Since we stayed at the French Quarter, we ate at Sassagoula everyday for breakfast and loved it! I kept picking the same thing each day, which was the ‘breakfast bounty’ I think it was called, because it had a little bit of everything, Mickey waffle, biscuit, eggs, bacon, etc. Lots of food and I couldn’t finish it each day, but it sure was enough to feed you for the day. My kids loved the large cinnamon buns and my hubby even tried the beignets, (of course!). This was our first time on a dining plan so we had lots of questions and the staff there was very nice and always took the time to explain how it worked and what we could order, etc.
Also, one night when we came home late from MK, my daughter was hungry and wanted to use one of her snack credits, but being a fussy five year old, didn’t want anything that they had there as a typical snack offering. She wanted the mac and cheese that they had over in the dinner section, (obviously not a snack). One of the cast members there was nice enough to make up a smaller, snack sized portion for her to take up to our room, and let us use it as a snack credit, since it was what she really wanted. Trust me, after a long tiring day, something as simple as that, made all the difference. She was a very happy girl. I was quite pleased with the service and food there.
